Samsung Omnia i900 assistance needed!

I've just inherited this phone(way beyond my capabilities!)
No "bits" with it, so I first need a charger, Being a simple sort of chap, I thought a charger's a charger's a charger! ;-|
Prices in shops vary around £15-24, then I saw this click here and was suspicious that it's so cheap.
(never satisfied!)
Just wary 'cos the CPW shop tried two chargers and couldn't get it charging, I then went to one of those second hand phone sales/unlocking/etc shops who tried two more before succeeding.

Got impatient! saw what claims to be "Original Equipment" in the Arndale Market for seven quid.
It seems to be charging OK at the moment but would still appreciate any views.
