locked to vodafone,anyone know where can get unlock code through IMEI without paying the earth and all thats in it?

Have you tried a different sim card in it to see if it will work or not.
Bought the wife a new phone with vodafone and it is opened to any network.Mind you it was not bought from one of their shops.

I bet you bought it from Carphone Warehouse?

OP there's plenty of paces that will unlock the phone for you... special software & cable is required.

Yes you are correct.Bought it from Carphone Warehouse.As you got it in one I can only assume that all of there phones are open to all networks.

Yes, they are completely independant and buy their phones in from the manufacturer.
