Cleaning mobile phone screen

After a period dust collects behind the screen and you can't remove it without taking the screen off. Does anyone know if its possible to remove the screen (is it clipped on or glued)?

I have a workmate who replaced a cracked Sony screen and found it quite easy, as you just want to clean it it should be easy enough.
