Predictive Text on Samsung E900

I have a Samsung E900 and just cannot find a way to get it to do predictive text.

Can anyone please advise.

thank you all so much. I have had the phone for four months and have struggled from the start.

Now I have predictive text. Yeaaaa.

It's called T9 in the menu.

Found this on the net,

Predictive Text on Samsung E900

Go into a new message then the bottom left button - hold it down and then the lettering in the top right of the screen should change - ABC or abc for alphabetic, and T and a few more numbers and letters for predictive - once you set it it should not change unless you change it via the same method again.

When composing a message choose options and then input method.
