secure sites on mobile internet!!!

I am trying to access things like my hotmail account and my ebay account on a phone with internet access but it says the the pages are disabled. I have phoned orange and they have taken "safegauard" off because they said that was the problem but I still cannot do it, can anyone advise?

What mobile have you got ? It might be a setting in the mobile. Is there any internet sites you can connect to on your mobile ?

thanks my mate but the phone has now been sold and I have got a new one and it works with the sites as I thought it would , it has windows mobile 5 in it , thanks again
