On steam games (Dishonoured, Total war games) my sound cuts out a few minutes into play. It seems frozen because the sound will return when I exit the games.

I have a usb sound card because my on-board sound port is broken.

I have un-installed all the sound drivers and reinstalled with the latest Perhaps I need the latest bios updates? If so I cannot find them anywhere without paying for biosagentplus.

Any ideas?
