Hello, basically I have 1 GB of RAM with my system and I have to Run applications like VS 2010 along SQL Server 2008 which requires alot of RAM. therefore I am looking for some sort of solution that I use XP with Vista of course XP on one partition and Vista on another and boot system with one operating system.
Idea is I will not use any firewall or antivirus with XP, Just XP with VS 2010 and SQL server. and with vista I will run other apps, it will also be used for Browsing and all shit stuff (whatever)therefore I will be using AV and firewall in VISTA as i have to connect to internet.
I want to ask that is it ok to do such a thing, using XP without any protection to save system resources IMHO is is ok as i will not connect to internet.
