Sharing folder AND ALL SUBFOLDERS

I just built an XP box to be the "media computer", and I have an external hard drive that I'd like to share with that computer. So far, I haven't had a problem with sharing the drive itself, but I can't get into any of the subfolders from the other computer.

I don't really care how the files get shared so long as it's easy (like barely computer literate easy) to access all the files, folders, and subfolders on my exHD on the other computer.

I've already tried mapping the network drive, I've also tried using the Share... option, but again, can't get to the subfolders in either case.

Help me out, internet people! Any suggestions are welcome.

Hi,

1) Sorry for my english, i'm from non-english speaking country.

2) I had the same problem, my brother wrote little program for it (he's studying IT) and that worked for me.

3) You have to extract zip file on both computers and run START.vbs file. 4) Done.

I uploaded program for you here: download

Each sub-folder will have to be set to shared.
