Dowloads error message.

When I try to open a document in Dowloads I get the message: 'The Service does not have sufficient privileges. Please reinstall'. I have always used downloads and have never got this message before.

I emptied the dowloads file earlier today - could this have caused it?

How can I put it right as I need to use it urgently.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Maybe a system restore to before you deleted the file.

Or if the download file is still in the recycle bin restore it.

Thank you so much - I am not very technically minded and did not think of system restore or restoring from the recycle bin (which worked).
