Can anyone please advise me what to do. I am running Windows Vista Home Premium and have had no problems at all with it. Suddenly at start up I get a windows error box saying "Java.exe failed to work properly". I have uninstalled and re-installed java and when I check the Java website it checks my PC and says Java is running correctly. How can I get rid of this annoying message...has anyone else experienced the same ?
Many thanks to anyone offering the time and trouble to help me out

Just to let you know I tried everything....it was a Trojan virus that kept putting a java.exe file in my Users/Appdata/Local/Temp file. The only thing that finally deleted it was Kaspersky. Finally rid my system of the thing at 5am !! It also deleted my system restore points.really nasty piece of malware.
Hope this helps if anyone else suffers
