Problem with Vista and itunes v11

My dh has a vista , it is just over 4 years old. He upgraded his itunes to version 11. Now he can not access itunes store, it just freezes. He unloaded the programme from his pc and re downloaded it to see if that made any difference, but it does not. He tried to download an older version but it just comes up with itunes 11. He also adjusted something on the anti virus to allow itunes. Is itunes 11 not with vista? Is there anything else he can do?

There is an updated version of iTunes 11 try that,there were many clitches in the original iTunesone being the ability to print cd cases and the find duplicates was missing,both now fixed.
