How to delete pics i deleted already

I recently downloaded a lot of pics on my PSP (a portable system). Using a USB, i uploaded them on my PC. I decided to delete them, and when I did, they didn't appear on the recycle bin. When I search the name of a pic on the start menu, they still appear. However, they won't open or delete because it says "This is no longer located in (the name of folder i put them in). Verify the item's location and try again." I try to delete them, but the same message comes up again. I deleted the pics on my PSP, and can't reupload them again or anything. What do i do?
