AVG uninstall

I am trying to uninstall AVG 2012 Free Edition. I go through the Uninstall steps but every time I do the following message appears "AVG LinkScanner(r) Free Edition 2012, remind in X minutes" Please restart and it all begins again How can I get rid or AVG?

Try removing it with Revo Uninstaller Free.

The best way would be to download AVG Remover 2012 from the AVG website. Follow the instructions here enter link description here
