Hi, I hope I am posting in the right forum? I have had a problem on and off with updates not being uploaded, I have turned off the UAC control, set the automatic updates in control panel for different times and restarted laptop (an acer with windows vista SP2) but there is always 1 update that keeps appearing on the little shield in the start menu, soon after I start up. I dont know what to do - HELP?? PCDIMWIT

For the moment I would leave the Net.framework 1 as you may well have an application that needs it to run.

OK, I have done only the Net.framework 1 removal, I have been on-line for about 1 hour up to now and there isnt a shield showing in the start menu over the onn/off icon, so Please God, its not going to pester me with this update again!! fingers crossed!! thanks PCDIMWIT

Seems to have worked, not a single update notification in the task bar, or any shield on the start menu, hope its cleared that Net.1 update now, thanks, PCDIMWIT
