Real player wont install

Real player wont update . Removed version and installed older version . Still wont fully install , downloads so far and then message " you need to be connected to internet , retry ? " but already connected .Tried downloading latest version , same problem .

Thanks for reply / advice .Have carried out and uninstalled once more as per your link but again when I go to download get the same message " you need to be connected to internet , retry ? " but I am already connected .Tried switching of firewall and av programmes , still same message .

Try uninstalling again and remove the folders. Clear your temp files by using Ccleaner or ATF Uncheck your saved passwords if needed. Check what it removes in case you need to keep something.

Try downloading from here and save to desktop first. Try installing from the desktop.

Should have added, right click and run as administrator to install.
