Factory Default

my acer aspire T 180 is compressed, would like to restore it to a factory default, im using alt and F10 keys to get into the recovery management, but when i hit factory restore it asks for a password, help please.

Have you tried all zeros 000000 ? as the Acer default password.

Also try running erecovery from within windows by search for the Acer utilities.

Final option is to change the BIOS boot order to boot from CD drive and use your recovery discs... which it asks you to make on day one.
