Blue screen

Hi,got a little prob with my acer laptop.When surfing web or any thing else,laptop switches off,goes to a blue scree with writing,stating 'is this the 1st time u have seen this message'boot from f8 ? Then boots up ? Any ideas please

F8 is boot into safe mode.
Have you tried doing a system restore back to a known good date ?

Have you updated any drivers/installed software etc recently ?

Maybe run chkdisk,

click here

you need to do a restart after scheduling if you want it to run now.

Also maybe try,
click here

Last resort would be a factory reset using Acer ERecovery.
