Skype and PC Crash

Recently Skype had a major upgrade. This has produced higher quality for both sound and picture. My son remarked on the high quality of the picture he received in Morocco from my Logitec 9000 Pro. BUT during our conversation my PC crashed three times in thirty minutes! I can not remember when it last crashed. Could this be that the power needed to send and receive video and sound at the same time is at the limit of its capacity? It has Windows Vista SP2; a WIE of 4.6; Intel Pentium(R) 1.6Hz;2GB RAM and 32 bit OS.

You could try down loading Skype again.
Removing existing Skype go to Control panel and add remove.
