Vista HD Sound no Stereo Mix

why hasont the vista HD sound card got stereo mixer anyone having the same problom ?

Try updating the driver? If no help found two freebies that might help. Never used them so can't comment how good they are.

Right click the sound icom in the taskbar and select recording devices. Right click in the recording devices box and select show disabled devices

Have a read of this thread. It's not only about XP and shows various attempts to overcome the lack of stereo mix, etc., available.
