The Windows update could not be installed because of an error: 2147942414 "Not enough storage is available to complete this operation." (Command line: ""C:\Windows\system32\wusa.exe" "C:\Windows6.0-KB947821-v4-x86.msu" ")
logged in as full administrator using the cmd at prompt etc

restore refusing to work - and been into disk clean up that deletes all but last restore point too.
tried SFC but can't get past the Windows File Protection and can't find way to disable that.

Run this in command prompt as an administrator if you are having these problems
net localgroup Administrators Local Service /ADD
net localgroup Administrators Network Service /ADD
Restart your computer and bam! everything should work normally ^^
Yep worked a treat - saved a format and reload ;)
