Problem with Acer Aspire Laptop keys

I have an acer aspire 5610z laptop and have a problem with the shortcut keys down the right side of the keyboard, they control volume, play/pause, stop etc. The problem is they have stopped working and I can't figure out how to configure them again. The laptop has been sent away for repair and reformatted and I'm not sure whether the keys just haven't been assigned yet or if they haven't been connected inside the laptop. Just wondering if anyone could help me try to configure these keys? Thanks

Don't know about the 5610 but you could see if it has under all programs - Launch Manager which should set which quick launch button does what.

The 5610 should have Launch Manager. Did you find it?
