ebay search jumps whilst typing

i seem to have a problem that only occurs on this PC with Vista home premium
when you start to type a description search in the standard ebay search box you cannot type all the word/s without the cursor jumping up to the 'windows live' toolbar. you have to keep clicking in the box and typing a letter at a time!!! nightmare
any ideas?

have a look in mouse settings to see if you have smart move enabled

actually it may not be called smart move in vista but have a look in mouse settings to see if it is set to jump anywhere when the pages are loaded
