hi guys i would just like to ask some advice


i've been offered the chance of a laptop but before i part with the cash i'd like some opinions on the laptop 1st

TOSHIBA SATELLITE A300 1MC

Intel(r)core(tm)2 duo cpu T5800 @2.00GHz 2.00GHz

RAM: 2940

system type : 32-bit


o/s windows vista

so is it a good laptop ??????

That depends on the cost and also on how you wish to use the laptop. The RAM seems ok, I think the most that a 32bit system will recognise is about 3.25gb or RAM.

I'm sure the girlfriend's laptop is a Toshiba A300, is it the shiny black one with the Harmon Kardon speakers?

If it is I was seriously impressed with the girlfiend's. Hers has 3GB ram and a Core 2 Duo 2 ghz processor and Vista Premium. I find it very fast and it makes light work of anything you throw at it it. Also the screen is excellent as well, very sharp and the colors are fantastic.
