Transferring stuff on to a new mobile phone

So the time came for me to upgrade my phone (from Xperia Ray to the Xperia L)

Copying phone contacts and my own music, vids and pics etc not a problem, but is it possible to copy my text message archive over too??

Also need to copy game saves over too, so that I don't lose all my progress from probably 100's of hours of mobile gaming.

Thanks. Will definately give this a try later..

(Just need to hunt for my savegame files, and the transfer will be sorted)

Tried to transfer as much info and files via USB to the PC. Also backup up my contacts, call log, texts etc via Micro Trend "backup & restore".

However I'm still getting to grips with transferring savegames etc for the progress of my mobile games etc. I'm sure the archived files are on the PC but the file and folder names aren't particularly helpful.
