The title says it all ! BUT,is it the best? Been recommended AVAST but worried about Exploit.spyware and it's repercussions, which AVAST did not pick up in trials. Also worried about the mega drain on battery and the thought of carrying the charger everyday to work, is crazy. ( PS: New to android phones) Thanks for any advice

Hi. I use a Samsung S3 and the security scanner I have found to work really well is 'TrustGo' from the Play store. Its free and even has a task killer which helps save on battery life.

I haven't had many problems with it either.

Hope that helps

BTw if you're worried about battery life I have one of these and take it with me when I go offout for the day. works well too as I don't have to take my battery out. http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B009Z8MTWK/ref=ohdetailso08s00i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

No affiliation whatsoever. Just showing a bit of useful kit
