Help MP5 player or android tablet under £150

Hi all. Hope this is the right forum to post this, if not, sorry and perhaps it will get moved.

I want to buy a mobile device for playing mkv format video. I'm fed up with converting files to mp4 for ipod touch. I've been looking into this for a while but don't know enough about mp5 players and tablet pc's. I have looked at an mp5 player for this by Ainol and other similar brands which seem to do the job well and run on android o/s. They have the ability to browse the internet just like an Ipod touch as well.

I also looked at some of the cheaper tablets, also running android o/s. As things seem to be moving rapidly towards tablets I'm thinking that this is now the prefered option for most people who wish to watch movies, play games, read and browse the net on there journies.

Can either of these be upgraded by adding apps?

Is a tablet running android just like running windows (XP,Vista,Windows7)?

Can I watch movies in mkv 720 format over 4gb file size?

Any help would be great as there are only a few places with these on show, they never have movies in this type of file loaded on them.

You are really going to struggle to find a tablet at £150.00

The Archos 101 is one of the cheapest and will play mkv files (after the codec is installed) The 8GB model can be had for less than £200 at has a microSD slot to add more memory Archos 101 Click Here
