Repeaters and boosters can be bought off the internet but whilst these are legal to own they are illegal to use in the UK

"Installation or use of repeater devices by anyone without a licence is a criminal offence under Section 8 of the Wireless Telegraphy Act 2006. Any person found guilty of installing or using such devices without a licence would be liable on conviction to a fine of up to £5,000 and/or up to 51 weeks’ imprisonment.”

Both BT and Vodaphone do signal boosters that can connect to 3g handsets and deliver the mobile service over 1mb+ Broadband.

These are off the shelf items but only work with those respective networks - contact them for details.

For larger companies there are IBS Internal Building Solutions ( Pico cells ) which actually puts a ' mini cell' in your premises
