Hi.

Getting a new camera for my birthday this year. I saw this one in Jessops...

..for about 80 quid, which is about what the other half wants to spend.

I've had a look through the specs and it sounds about what I want.

Anyone had any experience of it??

I have not used an A480, however it did well in a comparison of up-to-£100 cameras on the Gadget Show few months ago. I have 5-year-old Canon A520, has lasted well.

It looks the business doesn't it.

I need a hands on test I think. The thing I like about my current camera is the lack of 'lag' when the shutter button is pressed, its almost instantaneous on normal settings.

Done me proud that camera has.
