Hello
I have a JVC mini digital camcorder when I went to use it today when i opened it the screen went blank, if I open it half way it plays and records but fully open its a blank screen any advice on how to fix or where to send thats not going to cost an arm and a leg as just outside warrenty JVC want a cheque for £50 plus just to look at it

In most cases the repair Co., will incur costs to tell you what you already know'
Its broke guv.,
And the the next blow- 'There are no /replacements/spares available.
A little more probing with the seller may reveal the sale of goods act actually covers a much wider area of responsibility, well beyond the manufacturers 'one year'
Even the manufacturer may well offer a second user repaired item for a small fee.
Be more persistent with this especially it is only just out of warranty.
