Browsing security using mobile phone on wifi

Not sure where to post this, but I have recently got a Nokia 5800 which I can connect to my wifi network with, when browsing, for instance, logging in to Ebay, are there any security issues? Either security of passwords/personal information or attack by virus, that sort of thing? My wifi network is secured with a password. Thanks.

Hi there! Nice choice of smartphone! I also have a symbian phone. You should be ok with security, if in doubt - run Opera Mini, it's free to download and it's about as secure as it's going to get. There aren't really any viruses for the symbian phones, it could happen but put it this way; You'll have more chance of getting a virus or a security breach running Windows with protection than you will with a symbian phone!
