Using contract o2 sim card in pay as you go dongle

I have a contract with o2 that gives me "unlimited" internet with my simcard. I have bought a pay as you go o2 dongle and have put the contract sim card from my phone into it. It is connecting fine using this sim card.It is probably obvious but can anyone reassure me that any information/usage coming to me via this dongle and sim card is being "charged" to my free internet on o2 contract. I cannot see that it can be any other way because that is the only simcard that is being used. Any thoughts. Thanks in advance Jim
