hi, have just recently got a nokia 6300 and have just updated its firmware via a usb to internet connection. the download was over 25mega bytes. what have i gained by this download because i can not see any thing new on the phone.

my understanding is that you have in effect just updated the operating system, no new features but any previous problems reported are supposed to be ironed out by Nokia and then released as new firmware editions

It's a great phone & probably the best i have owned.
The only gripe is i still cant load Opera Webbrowser easily & o2 my phone provider are being useless over it!
