Windows Movie Maker not detecting DVD drive in Vista

Hi. For some reason, when I try to burn a DVD-RW with Windows Movie Maker it will not detect my DVD drive. I have burnt a DVD before with no problems using the same program. The drive plays DVD's and plays and burns CD-R's. I am using Vista home premium with service pack 2 and an Optiarc AD 5540A DVD-R/RW driver. Any suggestions? Thanks Kauly
