Watch catch up tv on LG tv over wireless

I have an LG Smart TV which includes BBC iPlayer but no other catch up clients. I have a home PC and my LG tv is connected to my wireless network so I can browse the internet form the tv and of course from my home PC. Is there any way I can be playing a catch up tv show on my PC and at the same time mirror the program on my LG tv over my wireless network? If this is possible I don't expect to be able to control the catch up program on the PC from the tv, I would just like it to be mirrored on the tv.
Thanks - Martin.

I also have a LG smart TV. Although on my network I get about 9mbps, on the TV I get less than 1, and the BBC iPlayer on wi fi stutters to the point of not enjoying it. I actually phoned LG who more or less admitted a problem with wireless. I also have a iPad and a laptop with an HDMI lead connection so now I use one of them to watch catch up on the TV from any of the other catch up services.

If you're hving problems with download speeds on a smart TV or other device using wi-fi consider using a Powerline adaptor.
These use your home power lines to extend your network around the house - like giant ethernet, hidden cables - ensuring you get speeds similar to your PC as it's a direct rather than wi-fi connection.
These range in price from aboy £50 to £100. I've used the D-Link PowerLine AV 500 and the Devolo dLAN 500 powerline adaptors.

Yes, good point - I have the Ethernet cables ready and am about to buy the pair of extenders. In the meantime I have used an iPad or laptop and HDMI. It is just irritating that on expensive TV the wi fi is much worse than an iPad in the same footprint location, and LG do not mention it as a problem.
