Bush digibox connection

My second tv is connected by a Bush digibox - no recorders etc. Over the past number of weeks the sound on the tv is becoming weaker and weaker. At full volume now the tv is just about able to produce a sound which we are able to hear providing there is no other noise! Any ideas?? Thanks P.S. The tv is probably a 10 year old Hitachi.

Try another digi-box but I think the TV may be on the way out.

One way of locating the cause would be to connect the digibox to your other TV and use. Alternatively, use another video aor udio source, such as a VHS or DVD player with the second TV. New digiboxes are quite cheap as are secondhand TVs.
