Aiseesoft trim function for ipad

Just purchased Aiseesoft ipad converter. it has a lot of options to play with and looks very good,and a good price,my question is,i have tried to figure out the trim option but try as i may i cannot get to grips with it, i can trim the first part of the project but, when i to go to the next section and tap in the figures i lose the first part,their is not a lot of information on the home page,if anyone could point me in the right direction i would be very grateful,thanks.

Thanks ton, I have been in touch with Aiseesoft, they say at the moment the only way i to do as is described in your thread,they are working on a new trim function,i have tried the method,it does work but it takes a long time,i had to rename all the clips i saved as it kept asking me if i wanted to replace the previous one,and the clips were in a random sequence so it took a while to sort it,thanks for your thread it was very helpful,when i get more information i wil post it.
