graphics card for blue ray and older PC

My original post was which graphics card to use for an older PC (3-4 years) so that it could be used to access the internet on a new TV via HDMI. I now realise with the responses and more research that this may not be so straightforward if I want to add a multi layer drive possibly blueray later as not all motherboards would support this...? Or have I got his completely wrong. OK summary: connect pc to tv via hdmi with graphics card that will allow blueray via new dvd drive. Thanks

Please don't publish two threads dealing with the same issue - it's easier to use your earlier thread to ask supplementary questions, and it's not so confusing for others.
