eBook reader with mp3 player

Is there such a thing as an eBook reader that is also able to play audio-books which are in mp3 format? Some say they cannot play music, but can they play speech? I can accept a standard of speech that would be unacceptable for music.

Works on the Kindle, Put all mp3 files in a Folder on the PC, Copy the Folder to the Kindle, and Play.

Thanks for the suggestions. A friend has an Amazon Kindle, and reports that it uses mp3 files as "ambient" background whilst reading, and the volume is such that it is difficult to listen to audio books. I think I will wait till the New Year sales. Cheers

My grand daughter has audio books on her iPod touch, and some e books. There is a free programme - Chapter and verse - worth a look at.

I have a Sony e-book reader, that also plays mp3's.
