VGA-Scart or VGA-RCA?

Hi there,
I have a tv with Scart, RCA and HDMI inputs but my laptop only has VGA outlet. I have no knowledge at all on the topic, so I wonder if someone can give a tip.
I checked the price of VGA-HDMI converter and I see that are far more expensive than VGA-Scart or VGA-RCA. Since I don't need HD quality when plugging my laptop to the TV I would rather go for the analog connection, whether VGA-Scart or VGA-RCA. Anyone can advise me what option is better? I would like to minimize compatibility problem and all those issues.
Thank you in advance! Cheers.
