I want to improve the sound, but it seems there are no connections for a surround sound system. Would settle for a 2.1 system if it helps, but where and how do I connect?

Anyone know?

Thanks - It says SLC7 and model Number PFL 5522D

Will try and connect a 3.5" mm phono cable and see what happens

I think you will find there are three phono connections on this model. Red & white are for audio and the yellow for vidio. Connect your surround sound equipment to the red & white phonos.
