With all the recent chat/hype about DAB radio- I thought to look at a Robers 'Digital' radio purchased about 5 years ago when digital was first mentioned.
I noticed that the fascia is in fact inscribed PLL digital.
Wikipedia gives many listing for Phased Looked Loop digital
But I am none the wiser is this Radio a DAB set or not?

I think it will be many years before ordinary FM and AM radio broadcasts are discontinued.
There are just too many sets around.

It is digital tuning not a digital broadcast
I recall building a kit radio/HiFi set about 30 years ago- a Sinclair- that had Phased Locked Loop
tuning.
It is buried in the loft somewhere I think.
oh well there is life in this beast for a while yet- so I wqont get too exited about it.

No it is not DAB
So tell me more
It was sold as 'Digital' at the time so has DAB come along since?
Will in due time this radio become a 'Doorstop'
