Video MOD files

If like me, you have recently bought a Video Recorder and the Format is *.MOD, you will find that it is very slow on your system..
To use these files, add the Ext Mpeg.
e.g. mov11.mod.mpeg. , they will then open as a standard mpeg file.
The problem is they are split into multiple files -- mov 01,02,03 etc for each video.
If you cannot see the extentions, Open Explorer/Tools/Folder Options/View. and unclick Hide Extentions.
My solution
Use Videoredo as you do not need to renmame the files first
change the default open to All files, select all files in that section (video) and videoredo will sort them into the correct order.
You can then play and save like a standard mpeg file.
You could also use Nero or any other video programafter renaming the files.
