Hi my sony tv has a pc card slot protector . This may be a silly question but what kind of card does it require and what does it do . Many thanks

Firstly, have you got a copy of the manual?
If not, have you tried to Google the model of TV you have, and look up the specs?
Finally, is there some kind of logo or card-type actually printed next to the card slot that tells you what kind of card can be accepted?

For a CAM (Conditional Access Module) click here
where a Card is inserted for TopUpTv click here

note it is a condition of freeveiw certification that the device has a CAM slot.
