Fisheye for 1.6 Crop 40D is it Possible?

Hi I have the 40D Canon I have bought a couple of lenses but would like to go as near fisheye as possible with the 1.6 crop.
I see there are 8mm that would give 12.8mm.
I want to photograph narrow streets and pull the buildings in if possible.
My choice of every day lens was the Tokina 12–24 X 1.6 = 19.2 - 38.4 (Good lens)
The fisheye lens is for fun only so any advice on how to achieve a wide angle without spending a large amount of money would be appreciated.
Can it be done in any editing software I have PSP 8 it will correct it, but not create it?

You could try using the mesh warp tools in PSP 8

BRYNIT good thought I forgot about that tool thanks.
hssutton oh yeah nice lens just 300 problems in the way of buying it, but once I get more into digital this would do nicely.
I had no idea there was a 4.5mm thanks for the link.

Only 300? I can think of 715, especially for a lens you will only use very occassionally.

You could however take this experimental route click here

Hi hssutton now that's what I call improvisation thanks for the link.
You have given me food for though, as I have plenty of old glasses.
I have a old but reasonable Canon lens so I will use that.
