Using Chrome browser and it stops working

Yesterday, while online, my browser kept popping up a message box that it had stopped working. The only thing I could do was to shut down the browser. I am using Chrome. I tried getting onto the using Mozilla and couldn't even get in. Didn't even try IE.

My laptop is an Acer Aspire V3-571-6643.

I even tried rebooting the laptop, but to no avail.

What could the problem be. I would appreciate any suggestions.

Some simple checks

Be sure no plug is loose in the Broadband circuit Do check that all lights are showing normally on the router

You say you have even tried rebooting the PC? OK but do try the Router as well, particularly if it is switched by a different socket from the PC.
