Where should I buy my first gaming pc?

I am planning on buying a gaming pc as I don't want to go through the hassle of making one, as I have no knowledge at all. My budget is around £500 at the very max, and with that I would hopeful be able to get a monitor as well. I am not interested in running at max graphics at any cost but would at least hope that all games are playable at a pretty good level. It also must be capable of basic non-gaming use. Any suggestions where to buy, and if they are any good. As I said I know nothing about pcs.

Have a look at the Chillblast range. They have a good reputation.
