multisession mp3 burners, discs won't play on car CD player

Hi I would like to compile an mp3 cd which is playable on my car audio system but it would have to be multisession so that I can add tracks later. The burners I've tried only let me do this in format which can only be played on my computer but not on an ordinary cd player even though it is modern enough to play mp3. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

Have you tried putting them on a CD-RW disc first, Then when it's full transfer the mp3s to a CD-R disc.. (That's what I do)..

In order to play in a car player you need to finalise the disk. Until you do that it will be unreadable in anything other than a Writer drive. Of course if you finalise you can't add more files. Catch 22 springs to mind.

Your Radios CD will not play Multi Session CD. It may not play burned CD's at all, you need to find out what it will play
