window 7 sony vaio laptop - will not update

My windows 7 sony vaio laptop will not complete updates recieved. Have tried all the "fixes" sugested - both on my laptp and PC ADVISOR tech help page (I am a member). I do not know how to contact Sony to ask them. Has anyone any sugestions please ? Cheers RAFMAN7
