Spam - Thunderbird/GMX

Hi All. I've been using Thunderbird linked with GMX for years and up until a few weeks ago would only receive the odd spam e-mail. However I'm now receiving 50+ a day in the Spam folder of Thunderbird, most of which relate to insurance, PPI claims, loans, compensation claims etc, etc! Not sure what to do from here, do I try/buy a Spam program, make some adjustments or change my e-mail address? Any help would be appreciated

In GMX's security settings you can "blacklist" the domains of any that are regularly sending spam. There used to be an option in GMX to reject mail from blacklisted domains but, unfortunately, this seems recently to have been removed. Now blacklisted messages go into the Spam folder but at least they are kept separate from genuine mail.
