Hi, can anyone please help,when I run serch in the above, it shows new web page then returns to serch site a few times before open in selected web page widows xp service pack 3, int exp 8 thanks

Just a thought but you may be suffering from the 'duble-click' syndrome. Only click once and wait for te PC to react.
